Maldives

The preparatory mission took place in July 2005. Following the preparation of a concept note, the main mission was fielded in August/September 2005. The outcome of this mission was incorporated in an aide-mémoire.

After the completion of the draft DTIS and a review process by the government, UNDP and the IF Working Group, the National Validation Workshop took place in November 2006. The outcome of this workshop was incorporated in the DTIS - Volume I (pdf - 822k).

Volume II of the DTIS consists of reports submitted by consultants and is available on request through the office of the National Focal Point.

The DTIS was integrated into the 7th National Development Plan.

Four Window II projects are being implemented.
